The official Shillong Teer First Round result is declared every day at 4:00 PM (Monday to Saturday) from the central archery field at Polo Ground, Shillong. Managed under the regulations of the Khasi Hills Archery Sports Association, the First Round (FR) draw is the first official result of the day. Many enthusiasts follow this opening session closely, as the initial 2-digit number serves as the baseline data for daytime chart updates and trend tracking.
The First Round (FR) is the opening archery session where the winning number calculation takes place. In this initial stage, a group of registered archers representing regional clubs takes position on the field. Each archer is allocated a specific bundle containing a fixed number of arrows. Within a strict time limit, they shoot at a traditional straw target. Once the session concludes, officials physically count the successful arrows embedded in the target board. The winning number is derived from the officially counted arrows.
The winning number is determined from the total number of arrows counted after the session. For example, if the group of archers successfully lands a total of 1,244 arrows inside the designated target boundaries, the last two digits are taken to determine the result. In this example, "44" becomes the official First Round winning number.
